1992 through 2002
Tlokweng Dayspring School officially opened on the 5th of February 1992. That day was far different than today! On that day we had 51 students in Reception to Standard 7. Our Reception through std 4 all met in what is now one of our staff members sitting room, dining room and bedroom! Standard 5, 6 and 7 all met in a small building where the present offices are. From just 51 students on that first day in February 1992 to the end of the year in December 1992 the school doubled in enrolment, and at the end of that year enrolment was 113 students. As the enrolment grew so did the staff! From just 4 staff members on that first day to 70 staff members 10 years later!
2002 through 2012
The School has grown steadily from that first day . We thank all members of staff, past and present for the wonderful addition each one has been. For the success the school has experienced we wish to give the glory to the Lord for truly He has caused TDS to prosper and we rejoice in his mercy and goodness to us. May the Dayspring from on high (who is the Lord Jesus Christ) continue to shower TDS with His blessing as we give Him the honour and glory due to His name.

2012 to 2022
2012 marked Tlokweng Dayspring School's 20th Birthday. At such milestones, its important to look back on just how far God has brought us as a school in 20 years. We do fun celebrations such as Commonwealth Day and Fun Day, each class has an opportunity to on a field trip, which we always hope are educational as well as a fun experience for our students. Another exciting event we have is called FUN WEEK, during which we celebrate famous faces that we are studying during that period. Our most famous event is the Christmas Program, the Standard 3s and 4s worked hard to make the programme a great success.
